is a recent graduate of Buffalo State College, with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Technology, and a concentration in Fashion Merchandising. She completed the Soharlem 14-week Basic Sewing Training Program immediately after graduating, and subsequently joined our creative collective as an Apprentice. Her work experience includes an internship at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development and as a volunteer at the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health. Teyah is also a graduate of NYC’s High School of Fashion Industries. As she starts to pursue a career path in the garment and fashion industries, she is thrilled and grateful to be introducing some of her first creations with SoHarlem at the Malt House.
