Noah Jōseph Ortiz

entered SoHarlem’s garment construction training program in 2018 where he quickly learned to use various sewing machines for knits and wovens. As a Design Apprentice, Noah is currently focused on applying his garment construction training in a structured manner as he builds his first brand, Jōseph by Noah Jōseph.

Raised in the South Bronx and Harlem, Noah is a graduate of Xavier High School and the NY Institute of Technology, where he studied Computer and Electrical Engineering. Noah recently completed the Streetwear Essentials program at Parsons School of Design.

Jōseph bridges streetwear and professional sociable wear with a fresh modernist style for anyone who loves to be comfortable and flashy. Noah believes there are a few things that should always come first when constructing clothing: “comfortability, presentation, and the uncommon factor.”
